I had the privilege of developing the website for Velvet Shop, a Belgian online boutique specializing in high-end women's fashion. This project aimed to create an elegant and functional platform that reflects the sophistication and style of Velvet Shop's collections while providing a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.

Project Details:

1. Needs Analysis:

Collaborated closely with the client to understand their design, functionality, and user experience expectations. Conducted market research to analyze competitors and current trends in the online fashion industry to ensure a modern and competitive website.

2. UX/UI Design:

Designed a visually appealing and intuitive user interface aligned with Velvet Shop's brand identity. Developed a simplified navigation structure to help customers easily find the products they are looking for.

3. Development:

Utilized modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to ensure optimal performance and compatibility across all devices. Integrated a content management system (CMS) to allow the client to easily manage products, inventory, and site content.

4. Specific Features:

Built a comprehensive online store with full order management, secure payment gateways, and various shipping options. Implemented interactive product galleries with advanced search filters to enhance the browsing experience. Integrated blog and newsletter functionalities to engage customers and keep them updated on new arrivals and fashion trends.

5. Optimization:

Applied search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve the site's visibility on search engines and attract more organic traffic. Conducted performance, responsiveness, and compatibility tests across different browsers and devices to ensure an optimal user experience.

6. Training and Support:

Provided training for the client on using the CMS for independent site management and content updates. Offered ongoing technical support for maintenance, updates, and necessary adjustments.
